Well, during this early stage of blogging I wrote a very interesting piece about using my rake in the yard to unearth beneath the debris of the winter some fresh new life. It was very well written by the way. Sadly, I trashed it unknowingly and it didn’t publish.
I’m not that keen on raking anyway.
Write the piece again, and add something about the piles of tomatoes of yesteryear. You’ve got a lot going – just need to rake it over.
Thanks for your comment. Those piles of tomatoes bring back memories of starting back at school as I would come home in the afternoon to the madness of extenstive food production going on both outside and inside our farmhouse. Mom learned it all from scratch from my dad’s ole tymey aunts and it was pioneer fare. A great heritage and lots of material there just for the picking. Sauerkraut production was very unique and smelly as I recall. Enjoy your garden and lifestyle there, sounds very special.
